Fox Entertainment and Lionsgate TV are turning the podcast Guys We F****d: The Anti Slut-Shaming Podcast into a comedy series. Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson created the podcast. The podcast works to destigmatize female sexuality and help listeners gain a healthier outlook on sex. The series story will be based around a cocky shopgirl and a people-pleasing bartender that become besties. They help each other navigate female adulthood and occasionally play therapists to each other and some men. Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson along with Kristin Belka Maier (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) will write for the series. Fisher, Hutchinson, and Maier will executive produce the project as well as Eric and Kim Tannenbaum for The Tannenbaum Company, Rick Dorfman and Chris Mills for Authentic Management Productions, and Kris Koller for Seven Summits Pictures & Management and Alix Magid. Fox hasn’t started casting for the podcast-turned-comedy series.

Origins of Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson’s Podcast

Before Fox wanted to adapt their podcast into a comedy series, Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson crossed paths in New York City. They both worked for a talent management company. Hutchinson and Fisher later worked together on the comedy show Sorry About Last Night. They started the podcast Guys We Fd: The Anti Slut-Shaming Podcast in 2016. It initially started with Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson talking about their former and current sexual partners. It evolved into the hosts talking about the events of the past week then interviewing that week’s guest. Each show ends with the hosts reading and answering listener emails and giving advice on sex and relationships. Buzzfeed News listed Guys We Fd: The Anti Slut-Shaming Podcast as “22 Podcasts That You Should Be Subscribing To In 2016”. It was also said to be one of the “15 Best Sex Podcasts” by Esquire in 2019.

The Fox comedy series based on the podcast should align with the mission of the podcast since Hutchinson and Fisher are in the writer’s room.
