Turn 10 Studios has announced it’ll reveal the first news about Forza Motorsport 8 during the month of May.
The announcement came as part of the usual Forza Monthly, where Brian Ekberg shared the on May 7, in the next FM, we’ll learn more about what’s on the way for the franchise.
As you might remember, Forza games are being released every year, but this time around the studio will take more time.
Forza 8 is supposedly coming for Xbox Scarlett upon day one, with PC and perhaps even Xbox One still in the count, so I’ll skip the usual late 2019 window to drop in 2020.
What’s unusual is maybe that we hear about it so early in the process, but there’s a quite specific reason for that.
As we’ve already reported, the game’s being built in total cooperation with the community, after Forza Motorsport 7 was disappointed for several reasons.
So, on this occasion, we could be getting the first details about how this cooperation is going to work, likely with ‘flights’ similar to the Halo series.
We’ll learn more about that on May 7, so stay tuned for all the info coming from the next Forza Monthly.
