Direct feed gameplay showcasing the 2012 Ferrari F12berlinetta racing on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Forza Motorsport 5 on the Xbox One.

While Forza Motorsport was certainly a visual stunner, the game unfortunately launched with a questionable progression system that many took Turn 10 to task for.

We’re huge Forza fans here at Attack of the Fanboy we gave the game a 3/5 “disliked.”

“Forza Motorsport 5 is a fantastic racing game that employs the worst of the worst when it comes to monetization strategies. $60 is no longer enough for even one day of the full Forza experience,” we said in our review as this was one of the first spots in the generation where monetization started to come into play in “AAA” releases in way that started to impact gameplay.

Unfortunately, since Forza 5 released there have been many games that’ve launched with ridiculous microtransaction and loot box strategies.
