Fortnitemare is considered to be one of the biggest events that are being held in Fortnite. Every year for celebrating the arrival of Halloween, Epic Games makes sure to add enough spooky material to keep the players busy for some time. As part of this year’s Fortnitemare players can defeat the Willow boss fight. So here is the guide on how to help defeat Willow in Fortnite as part of the Fortnitemare.
How to Help Defeat Willow in Fortnite
Epic Games has added many new items, skins, weapons, and quests as part of the Halloween celebration. Among many quests, players can participate in killing the boss that dwells in Willow’s Haunt known as the Willow.
This quest can be separated into two tasks you must complete in order to finish the quest. The first task is to find the location where the Willow is located. Since the location of Willow cannot be found by simply searching among the major POIs, the quest can be frustrating.
The Willow boss dwells in an unmarked location called Willow’s Haunt. You can find this location by going to the edge of the island which is located on the southwest side of Rave Cave and northwest of Reality Tree.
If this is your first time trying to find and defeat the Willow in Fortnite then you will also gain a hefty chunk of XP just for discovering the location. Once you get there and find the boss, the battle will commence without any warning. So if you are not paying any attention the Willow might surprise attack you can deal huge damage to you.
Then comes the next task in order to complete this quest; defeating the Willow. Defeating the Willow is not that challenging compared to other boss fights we have seen in recent times that appeared in Fortnite.
Her only weapon is an axe and in order to deal damage, she has to be near you. This gives you the advantage to dodge most of her attacks but bears in mind that she moves really fast. The challenging part of this quest is to survive the attack of other players.

Many players will try to defeat this boss and get the XP which will cause the location of the boss to be swarmed by many players. The good thing about this quest is that you don’t need to blow the killing strike.
The quest merely asks to “help defeat Willow” which basically means all you have to do is deal some damage and then you can leave the area so you wouldn’t be eliminated by other players. This quest will be available for another week, so you can take your time.
Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
