As Fortnite continues to roll out updates with new battles and weapons, weekly challenges keep players busy with Resistance aid. A new Resistance Quest in Fortnite requires players to transmit important data to a drone. Our guide should help those who still need some guidance on finding a drone in the first place.

Where to Transmit Resistance Data to Drone in Fortnite

As part of the Week 4 Resistance Quests, players must transmit data to the drone to continue to help out the Resistance in Fortnite.

This challenge will come up right after you finish the “Fortnite Establish Uplink Near a Seven Outpost” quest.

To transmit data to a drone in Fortnite, you have 6 drones to choose from. Each of the remaining 6 Seven Outpost locations has a drone.

The map above shows their rough location. However, here are more precise locations, so you have an easier time finding them.

For Seven Outpost 1 (southwest of Greasy Grove), go south of the outpost and behind the building on a hill. The drone is near a stack of pallets.

Around Seven Outpost II (north of Logjam Lumberyard), the drone is east of the outpost by the single-story building.

Next, with Seven Outpost III (northeast of The Daily Bugle), look for the oval-shaped building to the north. Here, the drone is back near a fence.

For the fourth drone, go to Seven Outpost IV (south of Condo Canyon). You’ll find the drone near the most northern building, just outside the outer walls.

At Seven Outpost V (west of Command Cavern), the drone is behind the single-story oval-shaped building with a glass roof.

Lastly, Seven Outpost VI (an island east of Sanctuary) has a tough drone to find. For this one, climb on the Outpost building to see the drone sitting on a turret.

You only need to transmit data to one of the drones to complete the Fortnite Resistance Quest. It’ll earn you 23,000 XP.

So, how do you transmit data? It’s simple. Walk up to the drone and merely interact with it to finish the mission.
