One of the best aspects of Fortnite is all the different types of weapons gamers can use to fit their playstyle. While fans can argue that some weapons are objectively better than others, sometimes players can’t afford to be choosy in the heat of battle. The machine pistol is one of the Fortnite guns fans dismissed in the past for its low damage output. However, Epic Games has made some great improvements to the weapon to make it worth taking up inventory space. So for Fortnite fans looking to test out the new changes, here is where to find the machine pistol.

Where to get the Machine Pistol in Fortnite

Sadly, at this moment, there are no specific spawn locations where players can find the machine pistol in Fortnite. The only way to get it is through Floor Loot, Supply Drops, Fishing, and Chests in Fortnite. The rarity of the machine pistol drop is also random, ranging from common to mythic. Additionally, it is essential to note that machine pistols are currently not included in competitive playlists for the game.

Luckily, there are ways players can track the different methods on where to find the Machine Pistol in Fortnite. Supply Drops in Fortnite currently have a couple of easy ways players can find loot. The Team Rumble game mode currently has the best chance to find supply drops, spawning eight to ten drops as soon as the first circle closes. Likewise, the best place to fish in Fortnite Chapter 3 is in Fisher’s Paradise. Living up to the name, Fisher’s Paradise has multiple different fishing spots in close vicinity, all out of the way from enemy players. Remember that when fishing, make sure not to get the hook out of the water after the first couple of pulls. Instead, wait for 15 seconds and then pull the lure out as soon as the fishing hook begins bobbing again.

On top of a higher damage rate, the clip size has also been increased, which helps the gun not run out of ammo as quickly as it used to. This also makes the gun effective in both long-range and short-range encounters with the burst mode. The reload time has also been significantly decreased from 2.4 seconds to just two seconds, which makes a considerable difference if gamers are in a pinch. With this new DPS output and higher fire rate, the machine pistol is now more effective than the Stinger SMG in certain instances.

Fortnite is out now on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
