Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 is still ongoing, and with it came a series of challenges and items to collect around the map. In the past, Shanty Town has been a hotspot for numerous challenges, particularly throughout Chapter 2, Season 2 and this season with finding bottles of Ghoulish Green. By the end of this guide, you will learn where to find Shanty Town in Fortnite.
Where to Find Shanty Town in Fortnite
Shanty Town is located in the southwest corner of the Fortnite map. You will find it west of Sludgy Swamp and southeast of Rainbow Rentals. Shanty Town is found along the western coast. However, its name will not appear on the map. Instead, you need to look out for a small town surrounded by trees with a metal pipe statue in the middle. If you are using the map coordinates to find it, this landmark is located in B6.
Depending on the challenge you are trying to complete, you may have to perform different tasks once you approach Shanty Town. For example, a past challenge from Season 2 asked players to apply shield or healing at Shanty Town or The Orchard. Three bottles of Ghoulish Green were also scattered throughout the area. These bottles were used to unlock the Ghoulish Green color for the Toona Fish. Characters are also occasionally introduced into these areas, with Big Chuggus being the most notable within Shanty Town. Any challenges you have completed, and any that you finish in the future, will go towards levelling up your Fortnite Seasonal Battle Pass.
