Reintroduced for Chapter 3 Season 2, Choppas are helicopters in Fortnite that allow players to traverse the Island within their aerial cockpits. These helicopters contain additional seating for four passengers, meaning that player squads can use Choppas to swiftly travel together. Unfortunately, the helicopters in Fortnite do not have any artillery, aside from the passengers’ equipped weapons that can be fired from the side of the vehicle. On the other hand, Choppas have a boost functionality, which horizontally propels them for a short distance. Keep in mind that Choppa helicopters in Fortnite have limited fuel and will crash to the ground if the gauge reaches zero.

Every Choppa Helicopter Location in Fortnite

There are five locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 where players can find and ride a Choppa helicopter. Choppas spawn at the Seven Outposts I to V, landmarks near the outer borders of the Battle Royale Map. First, Seven Outpost I can be found on the bottom-left portion of the Island, southwest of Greasy Grove.

The second Choppa location in Fortnite is in Seven Outpost II, northwest of Logjam Lumberyard. Seven Outpost III is located northeast of the Daily Bugle and west of the Discarded Dinghy. Another helicopter can be encountered in Seven Outpost IV south of Condo Canyon, and the fifth Choppa location is at Seven Outpost V, above the river north of Camp Cuddle.

As mentioned above, Choppa helicopters in Fortnite do not have any direct form of offense, yet they are still able to ram structures, dealing damage to buildings and players inside. Skilled pilots can also use the Choppa itself as a weapon and intentionally crash it on an enemy to deal explosive damage. Still, one piece of advice for players is to stay inside the helicopter until it reaches the found if it’s shot down or runs out of fuel. Jumping out too early will cause the Fortnite fan to die from fall damage.

Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
