While Chapter 2 of Fortnite‘s Season 8 made very few change to the map’s layout, new players to the game may have trouble finding some of the well-recognized areas and landmarks, such as Lake Canoe. Lake Canoe is a landmark that was introduced to Fortnite during Chapter 2 of Season 1. Players can identify the area with its lodge, two docks, and several canoes placed about. An island also sits in the middle of the lake. Players looking to complete the Surf Turf questline will be directed to swim in the lake. Where to Find Lake Canoe in Fortnite

To find where Lake Canoe is in Fortnite, players must travel to the east side of Fortnite‘s map. The lake is north of Lazy Lake and Retail Row and southwest of Dirty Docks. Players near Lazy Lake should follow the river north to arrive at Lake Canoe, and players close by Corny Crops should follow the river south.

As mentioned above, a Surf Turf objective requires players to swim in Lazy Lake and Lake Canoe. To begin the quest, visit Coral Castle and speak to Scuba Jonesy. Upon completion, Fortnite players will receive 20 Gold Bars. This mission is just Stage 1 of 5 of the Surf Turf questline, so players need to be prepared for more complex challenges as they progress. Those who complete the Surf Turf questline will be rewarded with an abundance of XP and Gold Bars that can be used to level their Battle Pass, which will grant access to Exotic weapons and unique Battle Pass skins.

Fortnite is available on PC, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
