Fortnite is doing it again, and this time there are doing an anime crossover that has many fans excited! In case you are wondering, we are talking about Dragon Ball Fortnite crossover with the inclusion of possibly Goku. While not official, reputable leakers have convinced us that Goku and other Dragon Ball characters will soon make their appearance on Fornite. This follows in the steps of Naruto, a hugely successful anime crossover.  This guide will let you on everything we know about this crossover, including when it will happen.

Fortnite: When is Goku Coming to the Game?

The exact date of the Dragon Ball and Fortnite crossover is unknown, but it is expected to coincide with the new Dragon Ball Super Hero film, which is set to be released on August 19, 2022, in the United States. We have every reason to suspect this because a list of Dragon Ball Z cosmetic items is out— leaked, of course. They are:

  • Goku skin
  • Vegeta skin
  • Beerus skin
  • An unknown woman’s character’s skin
  • Unique event skin
  • Quests
  • Free rewards
  • “Attack Ball” glider
  • A new POI codenamed “Preheat”
  • A mysterious “capsule” item

Rumors also say that Fornite players will access Dragon Ball Z challenges for up to seven weeks. This means the Dragon Ball’s Fornite crossover will be one of the most substantial in the game’s history.  As earlier pointed out, this follows what was an epic (sorry for the pun) collaboration with the developers of Naruto, which has opened the door for more anime-themed crossovers.

Did we mention that the crossover might happen on August 22? Well, it might happen even sooner! Some speculated that the crossover would happen on August 2 because every Tuesday, Epic Games is known to release hotfixes and updates. Another proposed date is August 9 because it is a day after the end of Epic Games employee vacations.

Since the collaboration will take upwards of seven weeks, it is impossible to push the timelines back, which means the release will happen anytime now. Plus, the work is massive, meaning that even if the two companies wanted to, there is no space for extended delays. Because we are talking about
