How To Play With A Referee In Fortnite
To be a referee in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, the participant must have played less than two hours in the Battle Royale game mode or Zero Build playlist, including Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squads. These two hours of playtime must have occurred at least within the past 30 days before the invite to the “Refer A Friend” program.

Fortnite referrers and referees must be friends in-game to participate in this program, meaning they must have each other added to their friends list when completing the challenges. For clarification, “Create a Connection” requires Fortnite players to add a friend, aka their referee, to their “Refer A Friend” progression. Once the five tasks above have been completed, all participating referrers and referees should possess all the free rewards.
