Every season, Epic Games adds fun challenges to Fortnite players can complete and get some extra XP. In Chapter 3, Season 2 of Fortnite several things were added to the game, like the Zero Build mode, Prowler skin, and a bunch of weapons alongside their related challenges. One of Chapter 3, Season 2’s challenges is to Mantle in a short time, but some players might have problems with mantling. So here is the guide on how to Mantle in Fortnite.

How to Mantle in Fortnite

Completing challenges in Fortnite is one of the best ways to level up and get some XP. In Chapter 3, Season 2, there is a challenge requiring players to Mantle 5 times in 5 seconds. It seems easy, but the problem is how to mantle in the game?

Mantling in Fortnite is to grab onto the ledge or the roof of a building and then pull yourself. It’s quite a useful skill that can help you in many situations apart from completing this week’s challenge. After the Epic Games announced the Zero Build mode, mantling replaced the old-fashioned way of getting to the rooftops via stairs and buildings.

To mantle in Fortnite first, jump towards the ledge of a building. Keep the jump button after you have made the jump. Then pull yourself up onto the building or the cliff you’ve jumped on. Sprinting before a jump will increase the distance of your jump.

As for the weekly challenge of Mantle 5 times in 5 Seconds, first, find a place with some buildings close to one another. Then jump towards one building, perform the mantle and repeat it in the building in front of you.

There is also another challenge related to mantling, which asks players to damage an opponent within 10 seconds of mantling. Go somewhere busy where you are sure to find other players. Start mantling in that area, and once you’ve spotted an opponent, deal some damage, completing the challenge. It is better to equip an SMG or Assault Rifle.

Fortnite is available for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
