Fortnite players working to complete Season X’s challenges will now have more time. The latest update patch extends the season so gamers can still grind for those last few tiers they are missing. The new end date is Sunday, October 13, with more challenges soon to be on the way as well.

Fortnite Season X Overview

Season X brought a new type of Battle Pass progression to Fortnite. Players had to complete challenges to unlock new ones in the set. Once finished, they can then “prestige” new missions in the same set. In the end, all challenges should get players to tier 100, give or take a few games to build experience. The season level is also important this time around. The “Level Headed” set of missions gives players rewards whenever they reach a certain level. If a player gets to 65, they unlock a second style for the tier 100 character, Ultima Knight. This makes the Fortnite season extension even more valuable.

Data miners have leaked information showing that the Overtime set of challenges, “Out of Time”, will release Tuesday, October 8. For those who do not know, Overtime challenges are released about a week before a Fortnite season ends. Rewards will include season experience, a new load screen, and three new styles for Eternal Voyager, YOND3R, and Sparkle Supreme. In addition, the Batman-themed event, “Welcome to Gotham City” challenges will reportedly be extended as well, giving players an extra shot at earning Catwoman’s glider.
