Our Fortnite Season 7 Hidden Battle Stars & Banner Locations guide features all of the battle star locations for the Snowfall Challenges! If you are able to knock out 60 weekly challenges in the new season you will unlock the mystery skin.

What’s up with these secret battle stars? Well, it all started in season 4 where you could unlock a loading screen whenever you completed all of that week’s challenges. Some eagle eyed player noticed the outline of a battle star in one of the loading screens. They went to the location and low and behold there was a star that they could collect!

What do the hidden Battle Stars do?

Once you collect one of the hidden battle stars you are given 10 stars towards your battle pass. This is helpful for leveling it up quickly and unlocking all of those sweet cosmetics you paid to get.

Why is there sometimes a hidden banner?

Every other week there will be a hidden banner. I’m not exactly sure why they added this, but it gives people a small extra cosmetic that they can collect. I personally am more interested in the battle stars, but at least it’s a little something free that you might enjoy.

Check out all of the loading screens from past and present with our Fortnite Loading Screen List!

Snowfall Mystery Skin

For Season 7 you have a slightly different requirement on gaining access to the mystery skin. You’ll need to complete 60 weekly challenges to unlock it. Each week you get seven challenges to complete, so you’ll be able to unlock the skins as early as week nine.

The Snowfall Challenge Mystery skin has been revealed and it’s The Prisoner!

Season 7 Hidden Battle Star Locations

Each week you complete will unlock a loading screen, that screen has a hint to the location of the hidden battle star! Before you go hunting for these stars, be sure you complete the particular week’s challenges because it won’t be there until you do so.

Check out our big post with guides to every challenge week of Season 7: Fortnite Season 7 Guide!

Week 1 Battle Star

The first loading screen you will unlock if you finish all of your challenges displays the new Zenith skin with his buddy Remus on his back. He is in the new snow area, and is zip-lining down the mountain. In the background, you can see a submarine (I thought it was a plane) on a mountain. Over this submarine is the transparent battle star.

You’ll want to head to the new snow area, and to the east of Frosty Flights you will find the submarine that has been iced over into the mountain.

Week 2 Hidden Banner

For week 2 you will be hunting down a hidden banner instead of the battle star. Once you’ve completed all of your challenges for this week, you’ll get a loading screen featuring the new Lynx skin! She’s apparently a graphic designer, and the banner is shown on her screen. This location can actually be found rather close to last week, but it is actually in Frosty Flights.

Head to Frosty Flights in the new Iceberg biome, and over to the very east building. Go up to the second floor, and you’ll find a room that looks almost exactly like the one depicted above. You will find the banner there!

Week 3 Battle Star

If you complete all the challenges in week 3 you will get this Sgt. Winter loading screen showing the A.I.M. skins loading up an airplane with presents! If you look hard into the hangar on the left, you will see the transparent battle star you can collect.

You can find this hangar at Frosty Flights where the majority of these hidden items have been located.

Week 4 Hidden Banner

After completing the challenges in week 4 of Season 7 you will get the following loading screen! This is showing off the new Driftboard vehicle, Powder skin, and the Hamirez pet.

You can find this banner in the Happy Hamlet. It’s right next to the Big Shots Espresso bar near the clock tower. It’ll be on third floor, outside of the small green building next to that coffee shop.

Week 5 Hidden Battle Star

Once your week 5 challenges are complete, you will get this awesome little Trog loading screen. It shows off the abominable snowman skin from the battle pass, along with Slushy Soldier’s back bling Slushy Jr., and the little penguin from the Rickety Runner glider.

The battle star can be found in the cave that Trog lives in. This is located at the southwest part of the winter biome. The map below shows exactly where the battle star will be, but the entrance to this area is further southwest from it.

Week 6 Hidden Banner

For week 6 you will get a nice loading screen featuring the Onesie skin that’s promoting the Durrr Burger fast food place. While you can see the location shown of the hidden banner on the chalk boar on the right, the more intriguing part of the image is Tomato Head jealously staring down from a telescope!

As mentioned, you’ll see the hidden banner location displayed on the chalkboard. This location is actually over in the desert biome south of Paradise Palms. It’s on top of the mountain where the cars and cactus around it make a crown over the top of the face that is carved into it.

Week 7 Hidden Battle Star

Once you’ve completed all of the challenges for week 7, you’ll get the following loading screen. It looks like The Ice King is going to wreak some havoc on his kingdom. This kind of reminds me of The Lich King from World of Warcraft coming off his throne to rule the Scourge.

This one is an easy find, you’ll just head to Polar Peak and inside the castle there. If you head on in, you’ll find the king’s throne and above it will be the battle star.

Week 8 Hidden Banner

Once you complete all of the week 8 challenges you will unlock the following loading screen. The Ice King is up to no good, and he looks to be ushering in an icy winter across Fortnite’s island! If you look below his right knee on the castle wall, you’ll notice some coordinate that correspond to the location of the hidden banner.

If you want to find the exact location it’s between A8, A9, B8, and B9 on the map. The spot is marked on the map below, and you’ll find the banner above the discolored area in the snow.

Week 9 Hidden Battle Star

Once you’ve completed all of your week 9 challenges you will be given this loading screen of The Prisoner escaping from his confines! If you look to the left side, you’ll see what looks to be a large sled with a battle star over it. You can find this star to the north of Happy Hamlet.

The exact location of the spot is where the big wooden chair used to be if you remember that. It has been turned into a wooden sled now, and it’s to the east of Polar Peak. The exact location is shown below on the map.

Week 10 Hidden Banner

If you complete the final week of challenges, you will be given this loading screen of The Prisoner enjoying his newly found freedom. If you look closely to the left of the campfire, you’ll see the image of a banner floating right near the big tree.

This exact location is to the east of Retail Row, and just west of the racetrack area. It’s also just north of small building with cactus surrounding it.
