The 10th season of Fortnite is upon us. Fortnite Season 10 is being officially dubbed as Season X. Taking some notes from Apple now are we, Epic Games? Regardless, the new season will feature some new changes to the game. These changes include a new mech called a B.R.U.T.E., a new rift zone with some explosions, and some past events and features from the past seasons of the game. Let’s get right into the changes to Fortnite Season 10!

The new mechanical beast being called a B.R.U.T.E. is a two-player controlled giant robot. One player controls the movement while the other player controls the shooting. The mech looks to have a rocket launcher as well as a laser. Nevertheless, of the weapons, this thing looks really cool! Epic Games you outdid yourselves with this one. The new mech suit can be seen in the new trailer for the 10th season of Fortnite.

The next update brings back a fan favorite area, Dusty Depot. Dusty Depot has destroyed thanks to a meteor back in Season 4 but has now been brought back as a floating city. Now players can land on the town, explore and loot. Loot Lake also had a similar effect to it thanks to an explosion. It is uncertain if Loot Lake will be playable in the foreseeable future. A developer at Epic Games stated, “Locations once thought to be lost are beginning to appear, but they aren’t the same as they once were.”

There have been some changes to the Battle Pass as well. Now players have the chance to complete missions and unlock more over a set period of time. The missions, much like with the daily challenges, have players completing very specific tasks. The daily challenges are no longer available for players. The information for the newest season came by during the Fortnite World Cup. There was an image of Dusty Depot with a quote of, “Think Back.” There was speculation of some time travel gameplay being involved. Many thought another huge explosion was about to bring everyone back in time. The idea of time travel wasn’t for the players but for the items and costumes. The characters from before received a facelift with current new skins.

Let us know what you think about the new season of Fortnite and if you’ll be playing to complete the new missions!
