Fortnite has today launched its May 23 update exclusively for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Now, seeing as this is exclusive to Xbox platforms, you may immediately think this is some exciting exclusive update for those of you playing on Microsoft’s console. Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you. Today’s update doesn’t bring anything exciting and instead seeks to drop a quick note regarding some minor improvements to the game. As it’s something quick, I won’t make you wait any longer. Without further ado, here’s everything new with Fortnite in its May 23 update!

In the event you can’t see the tweet above, today’s Xbox exclusive update only brings stability improvements to the game. This could be anything from simple backend fixes for working on the game, performance improvements to keep a stable framerate, animation improvements to stabilize their look or any other number of things. The point here is that whatever’s been changed, it isn’t anything worth seeking out. Instead, it’s just a nice quick update to ensure things run smoother. Plus, given you’ll likely get a weekly update tomorrow, it isn’t anything to worry about. Think of it as a bonus!
Speaking of a weekly update, last week’s update brought us a few nice toys to play with. The headliner by all means was the return of the Sideways Rifle and Sideways minigun, bringing back somewhat nostalgia alongside some purely fun guns to use. These also came with another heap of changes though, including an unvaulting vote, drop rate improvements, and more! We can likely expect something similar this week, though we won’t know for sure for a few days. Either way, hope you have fun on your Fortnite adventures today folks!
