Take down an IO Guard to complete this Week 8 quest.
The Week 8 Legendary quests are now live in Fortnite Season 7, and this week, Slone needs you to collect an access card from an IO Guard. The Imagined Order is pushing back against the alien invasion harder than ever before, and after a brief stint with Bushranger last week, it’s time to help out Slone again.
This week’s questline starts with receiving Slone’s orders from a payphone like usual, and she needs your help to investigate a mole within the Imagined Order. Here’s where you can collect an access card from an IO Guard in Fortnite.
Fortnite IO Guard Access Card Locations
To collect an access card from an IO Guard in Fortnite, you need to eliminate an IO Guard. The best place to find IO Guards is Corny Complex, but they can also be found at the satellite stations scattered across the island. Knocking them down won’t suffice. You need to completely kill an IO Guard in order for the access card to drop.
If you do choose to visit Corny Complex to complete this challenge, then you should have no problem finding IO Guards in the central barn. There’s a parked UFO being held inside, and there are a few IO Guards protecting it. If you’re having trouble finding IO Guards, however, you can head to the secret underground facility beneath the barn. There are a ton of IO Guards down there.
After eliminating an IO Guard, the access card will drop alongside their loot. It’s a small rectangular item with a glowing blue hue. All you have to do is pick it up to finish this quest. Upon completion, you’ll earn 45,000 XP for the Season 7 Battle Pass. With this quest out of the way, it’s now time to plant wiretaps at different key locations.
