Fortnite Winterfest 2021 recently began on December 16. To celebrate the beginning of Chapter 3, you will have the opportunity to get 14 presents from Sgt. Winter throughout Winterfest. Whether you are hunting for new outfits or want to get more XP through challenges, you will have up until January 6 to accomplish it all during Winterfest. One challenge you will encounter is to “warm yourself up at the Yule Log in Cozy Lodge”. You can also open your new presents and get XP in the lodge. How to Warm yourself at the Yule Log in the Cozy Lodge in Fortnite
The Cozy Lodge is not a physical location that you can travel to on the Fortnite map during your matches. Instead, you need to navigate to the main menu and find the snowflake icon in the top-right corner of your screen. Select this icon and choose to “visit lodge”. The visit lodge button will appear in the bottom-right of your screen. Within the Winterfest Cozy Lodge, you can warm yourself at the yule log to complete the quest and unwrap free daily presents. If you do not know how to access your current Winterfest quests, navigate to New Quests on the main menu and select the Winterfest category.
Fortnite Winterfest 2021 Update Patch Notes
Warming yourself at the yule log in the Cozy Lodge will allow you to complete one of the daily Fortnite Winterfest quests. It is the first quest you will unlock, and you have until the end of the event to complete it. To do this, click on the logs in the fireplace at the back of the lodge. You will find the fireplace beside Sgt. Winter, who you will find sitting on a chair next to large piles of presents. Upon completion, you will receive 18,000 XP. Warming yourself at the yule log will also give you free Supercharged XP.
