With every new update arriving for Fortnite, players get tons of new mechanisms to learn and new things to do. Although Epic Games tries its best to explain everything as best as possible, sometimes players get confused. This is the case for using the Sensor Backpack as part of the new mechanism introduced to the players. Here is the guide on how to use Sensor Backpack to find energy fluctuation in Fortnite.

How to use the Sensor Backpack to find energy fluctuation in Fortnite

It is the final week of Fortnite‘s Chapter 3 that divided players due to the removal of the building mechanism, which later led to the creation of Zero Build Mode. This is, of course, alongside tons of other events and challenges that would keep players busy.

One of the newest story-related quests of Fortnite is to use the Sensor Backpack to find energy fluctuation in the game. But before using the Sensor Backpack, you need to establish a device uplink at Seven Outpost 1 or Synapse Station.

Then head towards the Loot Lake and grab yourself a Sensor Backpack along the way. After you got yourself a Sensor Backpack and established a link, you are good to go for the quest. You can see the locations with valid areas where fluctuations can be found down below.

If you get close to one of the areas with fluctuations, you will see an orange-ish aura that can be interacted with. After this, you will notice that the quest is complete. The major challenge with this quest is that you have traveled across the map so much, so make sure to have enough supplies in case you run into some enemies.
