Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 is coming to a close, but The Seven have a few more tasks for players to complete, such as helping The Imagined use a backpack to collect Fuel Cells and returning the stored power to an outpost. Specifically, The Imagined needs a power source for a mech The Scientist has been working on. She believes that Fuel Cells, small containers of bluish electrical energy, can be used to complete the Scientist’s project to get the mech up and running. Therefore, it’s up to Fortnite fans to collect these Fuel Cells in a special backpack and return one of two Seven Outposts.
Returning the Chargepack Backpack in Fortnite
The quest will begin tasking Fortnite players with establishing a Device Uplink at Seven Outpost II or Seven Outpost V. Once this is done, participants must then equip a Chargepack, a backpack that can store power retrieved from Fuel Cells. After the backpack is at least half-full, Fortnite fans must return it to Outpost V or II.

To get started, equip a Chargepack located at Seven Outpost II or Seven Outpost V. The nanobattery packs will be sitting atop small semicircle-shaped briefcases. These briefcase stands are the same locations where Fortnite players must return the backpacks after they have been sufficiently charged. The next step is picking up Fuel Cells.
The Fuel Cells for this Resistance Quest in Fortnite can be found in and around Command Cavern, the prominent IO-controlled landmark north of Camp Cuddle and west of The Fortress. First, to find Fuel Cells, players should check their minimap in the upper-right corner. Every cell will appear as a white diamond-like icon, indicating where a quest item is located. Moreover, to pick up a Fuel Cell, Fortnite fans only need to touch it by walking over it. A single cell will provide the Chargepack with about 70% power. However, the challenge is that the pack’s energy will gradually run out as the player moves. Therefore, participants must move quickly while the pack is above 50% power.
The best route to complete this mission is by landing at Seven Outpost V. After equipping the Chargepack, rush northeastward to the guard tower near the bridge over the river. Enter the building and collect the Fuel Cell in Fortnite. Immediately turn around and return the backpack to the outpost to complete the Resistance Quest in Fortnite.
