Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 provides a slew of new quests, challenges, and mechanics for players to engage in, and among the many objectives that players may have is igniting an opponent. In the previous Chapter, Fortnite players were able to set other players on fire using Exotic weapons purchased from Blaze, such as the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun. However, now that those weapons have been vaulted, players will need to utilize readily available ammunition from the wilderness — Fireflies. By collecting Fireflies to craft Firefly Jars, Fortnite players will be able to ignite their opponents with speed and ease.
The Easy Way to Ignite Players in Fortnite
To ignite players easily in Fortnite, head southwest of the Corny Crossroads in the Team Rumble game mode. There, players can find plenty of Fireflies to gather and make their Firefly Jar flame grenades. Lay in wait for an unsuspecting opponent to pass by and then throw the explosive jars at them, igniting and dealing damage in the process.

Of course, this is not the only spot where players can find Fireflies in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. However, the strategy is the same. First, collect the Fireflies flying about the area and then hide behind a tree or within a bush. Players need to make sure that enemies don’t see them, as Firefly Jars are easy to dodge or block by constructing a wall. Once the oblivious player is close enough, toss a flurry of jars at them. After their enemy has been ignited, Fortnite players will be able to complete their objective.
