How to Find and Destroy Haunted Household Furniture in Fortnite

The Fortnitemares is already halfway done, so don’t miss out on earning these fun cosmetic items:

  • Everything’s End Glider: Complete 5 daily quests
  • Chrome Cage Back Bling: Complete 13 daily quests
  • Unmaker Pickaxe: Complete 25 daily quests

Quest Objectives

The quest is to find and destroy seven pieces of haunted household furniture with your pickaxe. You do not have to complete this quest in one match, so don’t let it interfere with your match.

You will see a piece of furniture is haunted by a ghost because it glows and floats off the ground. Likewise, you will see a ghost disappear once you have destroyed the furniture, confirming your completion.

Quest Awards

  • 15,000 XP
  • This counts as completing one quest towards unlocking the three cosmetic item event rewards.

Haunted Household Furniture Locations

Here are three accessible locations you can find all seven of the haunted furniture you need. Since you need seven of these, you will have to visit a location twice.

Grim Gables

The Grim Gables location has four pieces of haunted furniture. You can complete this quest with only two visits and minimal effort. However, remember that the Inkquisitor boss and zombies fill this area, causing it to get sketchy fast.

Greasy Grove

The Greasy Grove location has multiple colored buildings where you can quickly destroy furniture. The yellow house, white house, blue house, and green house are all locations you will find a single piece of haunted household furniture.

Tilted Towers

You will find haunted household furniture in the water house north of the titled tower’s location.
