There are many ways you can collect bars in Fortnite. One of the easiest and fastest ways is to loot chests and open safes. If your main goal is to collect and spend bars, then it is best to drop in a less crowded POI at the start of the match.
The reason you must stay out of fights for finding bars is that you need time to search every chest and be safe in the location you drop. You don’t know which chest contains bars or safe keys.
Compared to chests, safes not only have a higher chance of containing bars, but they usually have an enormous amount as well. So your priority should be to find safe keys and vaults since you can a lot of time and effort in a single match.
