Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 7‘s second Legendary Challenge for Week 8 tasks players with collecting an access card from an IO Guard. Sounds easy enough, but many players might find themselves confused as to where to find IO guards and their access cards. This guide will tell you all the IO Guard locations and how to get the access cards from them.

Where to Find IO Guards in Fortnite

The locations that IO Guards can be found are the satellite station across the Fortnite map as well as under Corny Complex. Finding the Satellite Stations is straightforward, but finding the Corny Complex bunker might be a little difficult. So, let me help you there. The stairs found in the barn provide a direct entrance. If you want a more stealthy approach, use the secret entrance via the porta-pottie inside the farmhouse.

Below is a render of the Fortnite map marking locations that the IO Guards.

How to Get the Access Card

Once you have decided which location to head to, all you have to do is kill an IO Guard. Once they are dead, they will drop the access card for you to pick up. Once you pick up the access card, you complete the challenge and will be rewarded 45,000 XP, which will help get Battle Stars and get through the Battle Pass. You will also be able to move on to the next Legendary Challenge for Week 8: planting wiretaps at different key locations. The Week 8 challenges will disappear once the Week 9 Legendary Challenges begin, so get out there and don’t miss out.

This challenge doesn’t have Party Assist, so if you are playing with friends, each one of you will have to collect your own individual access card. For your best chance at succeeding, make sure to head to an IO Guard location away from the Battle Bus’s path. This will ensure the least amount of players head there. These access cards are a hot commodity right now in Fortnite and IO Guards are being hunted heavily for them. Make a game plan, gear up, and be prepared for some opposition.

Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 7 is out now and is playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.
