Halloween has always been one of the best times to be a Fortnite cosmetic collector. It seems to bring out some great creativity out, and we usually get some truly unique outfits to purchase! We’ll be taking a look at all of the Fortnite Halloween Skins that have been released in the previous years in this post. If you’re hoping to get a chance to buy any of these, they will very likely return during the next Halloween, so be on the lookout for them then.

Fortnite Halloween 2019 Skins

In 2019, it was also a big year with a whole lot of Halloween skins. The outfits were teased heavily prior to release, posters of them could be found in the game. These weren’t outright said to be skins, but it seemed to pretty obvious that they would end up in the shop. Chaos Agent might be the most famous of all these, because he’s played heavily into some of the story-lore of the seasons. There’s quite a few unique characters in this bunch, with things like Big Mouth and Teef being particularly unique. Hemlock in particular was a pretty great skin, with the built-in emote that will change the style of the skin in-game!

This is also the year that brought us the zombified Soccer skins. These didn’t go over super well based on the ratings, but they were an interesting addition to the game.

We also got a pretty awesome pack of skins with The Final Reckoning bundle.

Fortnite Halloween 2018 Skins

2018’s Halloween occurred when Fortnite had blown up in popularity, so it got a whole lot more skins in this year. Deadfire was one of the earliest skins to have a reactive skin, which transforms the outfit into a more zombified version. This is also the year that brought the Skull Ranger to the game, which is the female counterpart of Skull Trooper. We also got Brainiac, which is Ghoul Trooper’s male counterpart. There was also a couple of pumpkin head themed skins that were released. Hollowhead is pretty much a play on the headless horseman, and Jack Gourdon was in celebration of David S. Pumpkins from Saturday Night Live!

Fortnite Halloween 2017 Skins

Well, Epic came out of the gate with some great first skins. These would be infamous for a while, and were a couple of the hardest to find outfits in the game. They were immensely popular, and even cause some controversy when they returned. Epic tried to soften the outrage by adding “OG” versions of each of them. Skull Trooper got a purple style version that was only obtained by players who had owned it previously. Ghoul Trooper also received an OG pink style that had the same requirements.

Once the re-release happened for each of the skins, they both got a Back Bling added to them. Skull Trooper got the Ghost Portal which could be obtained by completing challenges. Ghoul Trooper was given the Bear Brained Back Bling that was just given to owners of the outfit!
