Week 10 of Chapter 2, Season 6 has rolled in, and players have new challenges to complete in Fortnite. Unlike previous challenges, this week’s challenges are very peculiar and aren’t entirely combative. Two of the most confusing challenges in the lot are building and then destroying the Sandcastles. Although confusing, it is pretty easy to complete, and here is a descriptive guide explaining how to complete the Sandcastle challenges in Fortnite.

Where to build Sandcastles in Fortnite

As usual, Epic Games gave a little sneak peek of the Sandcastle challenge beforehand by introducing one near the broken castle and Oreola on the map a week before. Keep in mind, building and destroying Sandcastles are two different challenges and will net players reward separately. However, both the challenges can easily be done in one game. To build a Sandcastle, you need to head towards the beach/sandy areas on the map. That said, here are all the locations where you can build them-

  • The coast southwest of Holly Hedges.
  • The coast northeast of Dirty Docks.

If you reach one of the aforementioned locations, you’ll come across three Sandcastles that you can interact with. Use the interact option and complete the task of building.

Where to destroy Sandcastles in Fortnite

Much like building Sandcastles, you have to interact with existing Sandcastles to destroy them. That said, here are the locations where you can destroy them-

  • The coast east of Craggy Cliffs.
  • The coast southeast of Flush Factory, near the new island that was introduced in the recent update.

Due to the high number of players trying the same challenge, these places are expected to be crowded. It’s better to go there during midgame rather than at the start of a match. Once Sandcastle has been utilized by another player, you won’t be able to interact with it, so keep trying at different locations.
