Chapter 2, Season 6 of Fortnite, is now active in the game. Like every Chapter, Epic Games have introduced many new changes, shaking and reshaping the meta. While the last chapter was about NPCs taking over the game, it’s Wild animals who are in the front seat this time around. Many wild animals have been added to the game, and not only do they provide valuable resources, but Wild Wolf, in particular, can also be tamed! Here is a guide explaining how to tame Wolf in Fortnite.

Taming Wolf In Fortnite

Wolves, in general, can be found near the Woodland, and they usually avoid areas with buildings. They are often found in packs and will attack anything that comes in their sight. To tame a Wolf, you’ll need a piece of meat that can be acquired by killing any wild animal. After you have farmed a piece of meat, find a Wolf and throw the piece of meat towards it by pressing the fire key. Once done, the Wolf will walk towards the piece of meat to consume it, and this will be your opportunity to tame it. Walk towards it and Press the “Tame” button for a while. It will be tamed after a brief moment and will tag alongside you for the rest of the game. Wolf will move around with you and will attack anyone that tries to harm you. Although its damage potential is nothing insane, it can be beneficial at times. Keep in mind; other players can eliminate tamed wolves by killing them.

Apart from taming Wolves, players can also tame Wild Boars and Chickens. However, out of all three, Wolves are the most impactful animals when it comes to raw combat prowess. Players can also kill these animals to farm up resources such as meat and bones. These resources can be used for crafting gears which is a new mechanism added in Chapter 2, Season 6 of Fortnite.
