Fortbyte #49 has been added to the Fortnite map. This Fortbyte Collectible asks you to go to Trog’s Ice Cave to find it. There are no other requirements to collecting Fortbyte #49 other than finding the cave.
Trog’s Ice Cave is located on the southwest side of the Fortnite map in the snowy area near the southern coast. It’s south of Frosty Flights and Polar Peak, while also be situated west of Happy Hamlet. The cave can be entered through a hole in the roof or from other entrances on the ground. Inside you’ll find a wooden tower and at the bottom of it you’ll find Fortbyte #49. Use the map below and make sure you’re in the cave and you should have no problem getting Fortbyte #49. If you are still having problems you can try using the B9 coordinates on the map to narrow down the location.
Since there are no other requirements that you need to unlock this Fortbyte you can simply walk up to it and grab it when you see it. Once you do you can see which piece of the Fortbyte puzzle this reveals by heading into the Challenges > Fortbytes tab.
