Next month will see the release of a physical edition of Fortnite Battle Royale. Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle, being released in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive, will contain V-bucks, skins, and weapons. It will be available to buy in retail stores wherever games are sold.

With a price of $29.99, the bundle will contain the game itself, the Frostbite Outfit, a special glider, pickaxe, and back bling. They will all have a nice winter theme, as we head into the darker, colder months. Also included will be 1000 V-bucks, Fortnite’s in-game currency, that can be spent on even more items, or perhaps the Battle Pass.
For people who may not be interested in picking up the retail edition of the game, but do want the new skins, they will be able to purchase them in-game on the release day or the Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle. This whole thing is a brilliant move by Epic Games. As we get closer to the Christmas period, a time when people all over the world are asking for video games, it is a good idea to give people who may not be that deep into gaming a more traditional way to buy presents for their loved ones.
The Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle will be available on November 13, for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One devices, and the Nintendo Switch. Fortnite just keeps going from strength to strength, and this positions Epic Games to take advantage of a crucial sales period for the entire games industry.
