With the release of Borderlands 3 inching ever closer, Epic Games has introduced a new Pandora zone to the everchanging world of Fortnite. The current Season 10 (stylized “Season X”) is a time and space-bending experience. Consequently, locations are replaced periodically with classic, fan-favorite zones. Fortnite X Borderlands Event Details
Now, Pandora has crashed to spread its unique kind of chaos among these new fighters. As a result, new rewards for completing the challenges within Fortnite include Borderlands-themed spray paint designs, experience points, and a Vault symbol flag. Also, new locker gear has been released. Players can pick up a bundle of the Psycho Bandit skin, Claptrap back bling, and Psycho Buzz Saws Harvesting Tool for 2000 V-Bucks.
Borderlands 3 developer Gearbox made waves with their controversial decision to offer the title exclusively through the Epic Games store for PC players. Furthermore, the game will remain exclusive through April 2020. However, console owners need not worry as Borderlands 3 will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the same day it comes out for PC. The franchise has released four games to date, with Borderlands 3 being the fifth entry. Therefore, with the Epic Games offer to stream the original shooter-looter accepted by Gearbox, it makes the Fortnite/Borderlands crossover more obvious.
