After the shortest chapter in Fortnite history, Chapter 4 Season 1 has finally begun. A brand-new map has been introduced in Fortnite Chapter 4. Along with brand-new Fortnite mechanics like motorcycles and the Augments perk system, there are also new weapons, a new battle pass, and other additions.

A New Map

The new map is arguably the most exciting part of a new Fortnite season. Various island fragments were joined together with the new Fortnite Battle Royale map. While the Chapter 4 map completely transforms the Fortnite environment and adds motorcycles, it also contains some throwbacks to earlier maps that seasoned players might enjoy discovering.

This season’s island is brand-new, so there is much more to explore than simply a few new landing areas. Still, a few locations could look familiar if you’ve been playing Fortnite for a while. The Citadel is a medieval settlement resembling one Geralt of Rivia might visit.

Eight more characters, V-Bucks, and a vast array of additional cosmetic items are available in the Chapter 4 Season 1 battle pass. The Doomslayer from Doom and Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher both make their island debuts in this season’s Fortnite.

New Weapons

Fortnite gains a ton of new weapons with the release of Chapter 4. The Ex-Caliber Rifle fires an explosive blade similar to the Boom Sniper but noticeably pointier. The two shotguns ought to suit various playstyles. For gamers who prefer their shotguns to shoot at an alarming rate, the Maven Auto variation is faster-firing, acts like a pump action shotgun, and fires two shells at a time.

In order to make headshots easier to get, the Red-Eye Assault Rifle has a red dot sight. The Twin Mag SMG has a great fire rate and a sizable clip size.
