Fortnite is more popular than ever these days, and that’s because it’s over. Or, at least, it’s been over for a few days, before prepping up for a massive comeback that you’d expect from such a big game and developer like Epic Games.

It took one day and a half, but the black hole event is over, and servers have been offline since 4 am Eastern. This means that the game’s servers are now in maintenance and that there is a new Chapter 2 patch that you can download right now.

In case you don’t trust us, there’s a message that pops up anytime you try and play the game right now, which clearly says that “Fortnite servers are currently undergoing maintenance. Please try again later.” So that’s it.

The Chapter 2 update for Fortnite is indeed out now on all platforms: the file size of the update is around 9GB on consoles and 14GB on PC. On top of that, we also have a new trailer that has just leaked in.

Yesterday, we reported about a battle pass trailer that has shown all the new stuff that is coming to the game, like 100 rewards, more ways to get them, fishing, boats, and of course, a brand new island to explore and where to fight in.

Today, we also have a story trailer that has just leaked, and you can check in the tweet below. Mind that it could be brought down anytime soon, so make sure you check it as soon as you can if you don’t mind “spoilers.” The pic you can see above it’s right from the trailer and shows the new island.

We’ll be back soon with more Fortnite news, likely when the game gets back online.
