The 19.10 update in Fortnite was released on January 18. With the update came the return of Tilted Towers, many major bug fixes, and the addition of Klombos. You can try to complete challenges by feeding Klomberries to the Klombo, or you can fly around in the air after being launched by its blowhole. However, you may not know that Klombos are commonly referred to as the “Butter Cake Monster”. You may also kill Butter Cake instead of completing challenges and feeding it Klomberries. By the end of this guide, you will learn whether you can kill Butter Cake in Fortnite.

Can You Kill Butter Cake in Fortnite?

In short, you technically can. However, it is incredibly challenging for the time and effort it takes to accomplish. According to the Fortnite Wiki, Butter Cake has 2000 health. While this does mean you can kill Butter Cake, it will take plenty of time, patience and ammo to accomplish. Any weapon you use on Butter Cake will result in only one damage per attack. It will be tough to deal enough damage to kill the monster if you attack it yourself. Unless you get help from the rest of your squad and have plenty of time on your hands, it is very challenging to kill the Butter Cake.

The Klombo, or Butter Cake, also has multiple attacks it can use on you. It will turn red once you damage it and start aggressively attacking you. Either it will either attack you by stomping on your character, or it will shoot balls of acid from the blowhole on top of its head. The acid ball attack deals 15 damage, while the stomp attack deals 20. This means that if you are not careful and take damage repeatedly, you may very well be defeated by Butter Cake before getting the chance to kill it.

Fortnite is available on PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Android, and iOS platforms.
