Epic Games is bringing a lot of new additions to Fortine Battle Royale’s Season 3 today, and has introduced a Battle Pass that can be purchased on the PS 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac
What’s In The Battle Pass
Players who purchase the Battle Pass will unlock a batch of in-game rewards including the new Mission Specialist Outfit. By playing through the season, players will be able to unlock series of reward tiers, unlocking cosmetic items like outfits, pickaxes, emotes, gliders, and more.
Epic Games has also introduced new unlock items like Back Blings, which are cosmetic only back gear that players can equip.
Big Update
In addition to the Battle Pass, a new update is being released as well. The update includes a 60 FPS mode for Battle Royale available for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X.
For those that enjoy the PvE experience of Save the World, you’ll be receiving a Hoverboard to allow for greater ease to explore each zone without depleting energy, and a brand new musical score. Both Battle Royale and Save the World modes will also be introduced to the Hand Cannon.
Building Improvements
Building will be getting a lot easier as new improvements have been made. Players will be given more freedom, as they can build through objects like trees, rocks, and cars. Turbo Building is also being introduced by letting you continuously place the selected piece by holding down the Primary Fire button.
