It’s time for another new limited time event in Fortnite: Battle Royale, and it’s one that many players have been asking for: Sniper Shootout.

This mode is all about long-range assaults with sniper rifles, but revolvers will also be in play for more close-up engagements. But with their high attack power and slow fire rates, the revolvers basically function as pocket snipers, anyway.

Past limited time events in Fortnite have featured massive 50-vs.-50 battles, explosives only, and silenced weapons only. This one should play very interestingly, as accuracy should be rewarded over aggression.

Fortnite experienced some hiccups over the weekend, including the party system being down, the servers being down for extended periods of time, and new glitches cropping up from last week’s 2.3 update that Epic Games is working hard behind the scenes to fix.

Sniper Shootout is already live, but it will be gone as fast as you can pull the trigger—the event comes to a close this Friday, Feb. 2.
