Fortnite: Battle Royale’s popularity continues to surge. The early access title has surpassed 45 million players in just 100 days, Epic Games announced today.

Epic also released a new trailer to highlight the first 100 days of the game, including some spectacular numbers to go with it. (That’s right, it’s only been 100 days since the battle royale mode was released.)

Since then, there have been over 5.6 billion gliders deployed, almost 32 billion pieces built with either wood, stone, or metal, over 573 billion shots fired, and nearly 126 million total wins recorded. That’s a whole lot of battle royale in just over a three-month period.

Tomorrow’s 2.2 update will continue to improve the game by overhauling the island map and adding a slew of quality-of-life changes. Epic’s support of the title in early access has been nothing short of spectacular with consistent updates in the three months since launch, as well as seasonal events like the recent winter-themed aesthetic.

It doesn’t seem like Fortnite will be going anywhere any time soon. If you haven’t taken the plunge and tried it out for yourself to see what the hype is about, maybe this week’s update is the time. The game is free-to-play and available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
