Epic readying a new weapon against Fortnite campers.
Epic Games is adding yet another weapon to Fortnite Battle Royale called the Stink Bomb. Revealed in the New Updates section of the in-game news tab, the Stink Bomb should be arriving in an upcoming update.
The Stink Bomb description makes it sound like a gas grenade that will be familiar to what’s found in other games. When thrown, the Stink Bomb will explode into a cloud on impact and slowly damage anyone inside.
This new Stink Bomb weapon should be effective against players who are camping in an area and need to be flushed out of cover.
While Epic is busy adding new items, they recently also took one away. The Shopping Cart was recently taken out of the game due to a bug and has been disabled for the time being while the developer works on a fix.
Midway through 2018, Fortnite is still going strong. Epic Games and Nintendo announced and released Fortnite Battle Royale for the Nintendo Switch recently with cross platform play between Nintendo’s handheld and every other platform the game is available on, excluding the PlayStation 4.
The Stink Bomb in Fortnite is expected to arrive following the v4.4 Content Update which will be available on June 19th. Downtime for the update begins at 4am ET.
