The wait was almost non-existent for one of Fortnite’s latest weapons. A few days ago, we got news of the hammer disappearing from the game due to a glitch that allowed players to bounce infinitely. Thankfully, with today’s patch, Fortnite has applied a fix to the Shockwave Hammer and brought it back. While many thought the weapons were going to the vault, this wasn’t the case. While it has been a popular weapon, others think it is a bit annoying. Yet, with this fix, matches might be more balanced now. If that wasn’t enough, we also got a classic rifle back into the game as well.
Fortnite’s latest patch applies a fix to the Shockwave Hammer glitch
Besides the highly-requested fix, there is something else that made its way out of the weapon vault. The burst rifle, a classic Fortnite weapon also appeared today in the game. This and the Shockwave Hammer fix have Fortnite players quite happy. While the hammer is powerful, at least we won’t have to deal with players abusing the glitch to win matches. For those who didn’t know, there was a way to make bouncing infinite with the hammer. Now, it isn’t possible.

Where to Find the Burst Assault Rifle in Fortnite
It is nice to see that Epic Games is doing its best to fix things as fast as possible. The response was quite quick and the fix was even faster. Some people were expecting this weapon to make it to the vault but it didn’t happen. So, as always, you can find the weapon again in the usual locations. For a fixed dropped, you can always try taking on the Ageless Champion boss in the game. Also, remember that these medieval locations have a chance to drop the new Guardian Shield. All of these are items that you’ll need to get some Battle Pass experience with the recent quests. So, don’t miss your chance and scour the map to find these weapons.
