Alien eggs can be found in a few specific spots on the island.
The Legendary Quests for Week 7 of Fortnite Season 7 are finally here, and the second challenge this week requires you to mark an Alien Egg. This quest comes after constructing a wooden hatchery. Alien Eggs have been around for most of the season, but now they’re becoming more common on the island. These eggs hatch into Alien Parasites, so you may already have an idea of where to look for them. Here’s where you can find and mark an Alien Egg in Fortnite.
Fortnite Alien Egg Locations
Alien Eggs can be found all over the map, but there are there specific locations you can visit where you’re guaranteed to find some. The first spot is Holly Hatchery. Alien Eggs can be found in the central low-gravity zone. There should be at least a few of them surrounding the central building, and you’ll have the best chance of finding one if you check the outdoor garden area with the metal shelves.
The second spot is the Hydro 16 dam. This is where Zyg and Choppy used to hang out, so you’ve probably been here a few times this season already if you’ve been keeping up with your challenges. While the duo has moved to a new spot on the map, Hydro 16 is still infested with Alien Eggs. Check the ceiling and underneath the catwalks and you’re sure to find some.
Finally, you can head to Zyg and Choppy’s new location, which is a short distance northeast of Weeping Woods. They’re patrolling the area where the green grass meets the purple alien grass, and there are plenty of Alien Eggs growing on the ground. Just be sure not to accidentally harm any of them so you don’t anger Zyg and Choppy.
Once you find an Alien Egg, all you have to do is press left on the D-Pad or the middle mouse button to mark it. You only need to mark one Alien Egg to complete this challenge, and you’ll be rewarded with 30,000 XP once you do so. With this out of the way, it’s time to continue working on the Week 7 Legendary Quests by collecting records from Pleasant Park or Craggy Cliffs.
Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
